Sphinx Observatory in the Swiss Alps

The Sphinx Observatory at Jungfraujoch in Switzerland is located at 3,571 meters above ground level and the observatory provides suitable conditions for conducting all research in all disciplines such as meteorology, ice science, astronomy, cosmic rays, radiation, physiology and other fields.

The observatory was built in 1937 to attract enthusiastic scientists to conduct research despite harsh weather conditions.
The observatory was built on a steep slope and a tunnel was built inside the mountain to make the elevator reach the top of the observatory and this elevator can be reached from the train station Jungfraujoch.

The Observatory provides visitors and tourists with metal balconies around the observatory with 360 degrees of possibility to see the magic of mountains and snow and enjoy the view of the green valleys at the bottom. One can see 11333 feet from the cliff to the bottom of the observatory.
The observatory includes four laboratories, Research Wing of Cosmic Radiology, a mechanical workshop, a library, a kitchen, a living room, ten bedrooms, a bathroom and living quarters for the guards.

The scientific part of the Sphinx Observatory comprises two large laboratories, a weather observation station, a workshop, two terraces for scientific and astronomical experiments, as well as a meteorological dome.
The telescope dome is equipped with a telescope in addition to what is available to visitors and tourists.

The observatory also allows visitors and tourists to take commemorative images from the top of the observatory in a safe manner

It might only be the 14th highest observatory in the world, but the Sphinx observatory in Switzerland is possibly the most beautiful and unique.

Green Lake

Green Lake is a lake located in Styria, Austria near the town of Tragoss, located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains of Hochschwab.

During the winter the depth of the lake does not exceed one or two meters and the surrounding area is used as a park and is considered a location and a preferred destination for pedestrians.

In the spring, the temperature begins to rise, and then ice and snow begin to melt on the tops of the mountains and extend down into a basin of land below. This aquarium is swollen to swallow the entire area including the park-shaped lake!! , did you imagine the scenery?

The reason for the designation of this lake is the green lake, which is derived from the green color, especially the grasses and trees. The pure water allows us to see grasses, flowers, garden seats and foot bridges buried in the lake floor, providing scuba divers with wonderful views!! .

As the month of July approaches, the lake begins to recede. By winter, the lake is back to its original size and the park opens again to the hikers.

During the summer, the maximum depth of the lake reaches about 12 meters, and the view becomes very impressive as you see.

So far it is very popular among divers who can observe green lawns in the lake's edge area especially in June when water is at their highest.
